On February 19th etherFAX engineers will remove support for the 3DES cipher suites. The etherFAX service already attempts negotiation with client connections using more secure cipher suites. However, it may be not be possible for any customers running legacy operating systems (ie: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP ) to use the more secure AES suites. Microsoft does provide a patch which will enable AES ciphers on Server 2003 SP2, it is available here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3050509/improving-cipher-security-in-windows-server-2003-sp2

For all customers running an etherFAX driver on Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7 and above this change will have NO effect on you.
