In preparation for the electrical maintenance that NY1 data center personnel will be performing, etherFAX will be performing some additional preparatory steps to ensure all primary and redundant hardware systems remain up during these periods of maintenance. One of these steps will include a failover to an alternate ISP. During this testing window etherFAX will update its DNS for the na.connect.etherfax.net and connect.etherfax.net URL's to an alternate ISP and once verified revert the change back. This will be a seamless update for customers as the new IP address will propagate over DNS.

This scheduled maintenance affected: U.S. API Services (U.S. REST Services, U.S. SOAP Services, U.S. SMS Services), Telephony (U.S. Inbound Toll-Free, U.S. Inbound DID, U.S. Outbound), and Customer Portal, Reseller Portal, Analog to etherFAX (A2E) Device Services.
